Urban Adamah is an educational farm and community center in Berkeley, California that integrates the practices of Jewish tradition, mindfulness, sustainable agriculture, and social action to build loving, just, and sustainable communities. We provide training programs, educational workshops, and community celebrations for more than 15,000 visitors annually.

Urban Roots cultivates leadership skills through food and farming to transform the lives of young people and inspire, engage, and nourish the community.

Since 1997, Urban Roots has provided paid internships to youth on the East Side of Saint Paul. Youth interns develop leadership, entrepreneurial, and life skills through our Market Garden, Conservation, and Cook Fresh Programs. Each year, 60 youth interns, ages 14-18, participate in our progressive, tiered programming, connecting to one another and to the world around them.

The Urban Creators is a platform for radical and collaborative imagination. Since 2010 we have used food, art, and education as tools to nurture resilience and self-determination in our neighborhood. UrbanLife is a non-denominational, faith-based, 501(c)3 non-profit organization that actively plants and cultivates Missional Communities through the principles and methodology of Christian Community Development.

Our goal is to provide inclusive employment for underserved populations in our vertical farms. These employees grow local food for local communities in locally based vertical greenhouses located in urban environments.
