Grow Ogden Meals
Volunteer Event
Dates: Tuesdays and Thursdays, March 10-June 30
Multiple dates available. Choose the day that works best for you.
Time: 5:30-6:00 pm (arrive by 5:20)
Location: 880 28th St. Ogden
Grown Ogden–located in the north parking lot of First Presbyterian Church of Ogden, behind the Knox Building.
Description: Provide meal for farm crew. Meal needs to serve 12 people. You are welcome (but not required) to stay and eat with the crew.

Keep the meal simple. The meal is more about connection than food. It means a lot to our interns who may have never had a family dinner.
Earth Day Celebration

Help us celebrate Earth Day with the Ogden community. We need volunteers to help set up tables & chairs, enjoy a vibrant event with us, and then help us put things away. This event is a lot of fun. Come join us.

Location: Grow Ogden Farm, 880 28th St, Ogden, UT (north parking lot of First Presbyterian Church of Ogden, behind the Knox Building)
Join us in preparing Grow Ogden’s new grow boxes by helping transport soil from a nearby community member’s land to the farm.
​
Volunteers will meet at Grow Ogden and help shovel soil into trailers at one location, then unload the soil and fill the new grow boxes at the farm. If possible, please bring your own shovel, work gloves, or wheelbarrow.
We are also looking for three volunteers with pick up trucks and trailers to help transport soil.
Limited tools will be available if you don’t have your own.

The First Presbyterian Church has generously donated more land to the Grow Ogden Farm. Help us set up the new grow area.
We will rototill the new area, lay wood chips, and set up the drip irrigation system.

Please bring your own work gloves and reusable water bottle. Volunteers that can bring a rototiller are greatly appreciated. Limited tools will be available. Please bring a shovel and wheel barrow if you are able to.

Shifts: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM or 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Location: Ogden Farmer’s Market

Help support Grow Ogden by volunteering at our booth at the Ogden Farmer’s Market. Volunteers will assist with selling seedlings provided by Faircrest Farms, with all proceeds benefiting Grow Ogden.

Two volunteers are needed per shift. The morning shift (8–11 AM) will help set up the booth, while the afternoon shift (11 AM–2 PM) will assist with sales and booth takedown.
