To create and sustain a new, regional asset in south Pittsburgh’s Hilltop community, that is committed to growing food, growing farmers and growing a community. Hilltop Urban Farm will benefit its neighbors by being a catalyst for community pride and reinvestment.

We are an established non profit organization providing job training, transitional employment and support services to individuals in Santa Cruz who are experiencing homelessness. Our dynamic employment training program is focused on stewardship, conservation and regenerative agricultural principles, teaching skills that truly transform lives for those who wish to maintain a stable, productive place in society.

At Hope Farms, we are implementing our award-winning programs to teach, inspire and empower healthy eating. Our seven-acre site, in the shadow of downtown Houston,is where we grow affordable, fresh produce for Houston families, train new urban farmers and provide a place for the entire community to learn about and celebrate fresh, locally-grown food.

Hub City Farmers Market’s mission is to increase the supply, access and demand of healthy, local food in Spartanburg.

Our mission is to provide access to organic produce to our community. Through gardening urban youth are also able to experience nature in a way they likely have not before. Kids and adults alike can join us and learn about basic agriculture education, environmental protection and sustainability.

Our mission is to co-create a healthy, inclusive and productive farm-based community with homeless families, people with disabilities and youth.

Homefields is an award-winning nonprofit organization dedicated to creating new life options for people who have disabilities. A modern ranch and 1800s farmhouse are the homes, and an 18-acre farm is the stage. Hundreds of people who have a disability or other barrier to traditional employment have engaged at our Farm, growing organically-minded produce for community shareholders. Six adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities call us “Home.”

The Homestead Farm Center Project, a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization founded in 2014, is dedicated to opening opportunities to adults with disabilities to work, learn, live, and thrive in a rural farm setting. Located on 100 acres of the historic Thomas Steele farm in beautiful Taylor County, West Virginia, the farm center offers training and experience in agricultural industries to adults with developmental disabilities, with an emphasis on those with autism spectrum disorders. In addition to working on the farm and learning to market farm products and create urban garden spaces through the Harvest at Home project, participants will have access to recreational activities including fishing, hiking, weaving, and woodworking. Donations are tax deductible.

To provide education, example, and hands-on experience to members of the community to expand the awareness, importance, and availability of food grown sustainably.

Indy Urban Acres is a collection of organic farms used to empower and educate people by providing equitable access to free, high quality produce.

C Farm School at Gibbs Road empowers individuals through on-farm, hands-on experiences and vocational education connecting them to the land and soil, food, themselves and their communities.

The Kula Farm opened on Atkins Avenue in Asbury Park in 2015. We’re a social enterprise that provides on-site job training, educational programs, farm to table dinners and free fresh produce to neighbors in need. We also transform vacant lots into community gardens and manage a hydroponic greenhouse. Our produce is sold to the public as well as to local restaurants.
